Especially cruise lines are raising these fees for the 3rd time since November. This will affect your bookings, for example (cruises carnival is increasing their fees to $9.00 per day per passenger based on first and second passengers in a cabin and to $4.00 a day per person 3rd and 4th in a cabin — so you must make sure that names and required deposits are made by june 26th, 2008 or the current fuel service charge will not be protected.
Princess and Cunard cruise lines are also raising their fuel service charges to $9.00 1st and 2nd passengers, $4.00 3rd and 4th passengers . Air Jamaica Vacation is implementing a fuel serice charge of $10.00 oneway and $20.00 round trip as of June 9, 2008 so if you have bookings with these suppliers you want to make sure that this will not impact your clients booking.
So again beware and aware of the increases when booking travel.

Other vacation vendors are changing their fuel charges, as well…such as Apple Vacations and Future Vacations. We advise that you check with the vendor to make sure no fuel charges apply to your booking.
